"Oscar H. 'Ozzie' Wulff was born June 2, 1908 in Glenview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. His ancestry goes back to Hanover and Mecklenburg, Germany... September 1923 he enrolled in Concordia College River Forest, Ill., from which he graduated in 1929.   ...He arrived in Bristol in late August 1929... He boarded with the August H. Erling family until his marriage in 1935. At first his teaching duties at Immanuel, consisted of teaching the second and third grades, leading the Young Peoples Group, playing the organ, directing the senior and children's choir, coaching basketball and baseball... In 1958 he became principal with the retirement of Dr. Herbert L. Kern... Oscar Wulff continued as principal until 1974 when he retired after 45 years as teacher and principal.  ... In 1975, Concordia College Bronxville, N.Y. honored him with the Servant of Christ medal... In 1985 he received an honorary doctor of laws degree from his alma mater, Concordia College in River Forest, Illinois."
